Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan has opened up about how she manages technology and screen time for her sons, Taimur and Jeh. The actress revealed that her children do not have phones of their own and said she remains particularly strict about their use of digital devices.
Speaking at the 16th edition of Expresso, Kareena described herself as “hyper” when it comes to screen time and admitted that she can be extremely cautious about the impact of technology and artificial intelligence on children.
Taimur and Jeh Don’t Have Their Own Phones
Kareena said she does not want her sons to have unrestricted access to smartphones. She explained that Taimur does not consider the nanny’s phone to be his own and that she makes it clear to him that the device does not belong to him.
The actress also revealed that controlling screen time can sometimes become a challenge, especially when the children are playing games. She said she often has to take the devices away when they spend too much time on them.
Kareena Is More Strict About Screen Time
While Kareena takes a stricter approach, she said her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan, is comparatively more relaxed about the children’s screen usage. Their different approaches to technology can sometimes lead to disagreements about how much screen time is appropriate.
