New Delhi, September 15, 2026: Apple has expanded its iCloud+ subscription in India by adding Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no additional cost. The move gives subscribers access to cloud storage, entertainment and gaming through a single subscription.

The expanded iCloud+ offering is being rolled out in India from September 15, with Apple planning to extend the service to more than 100 countries and regions through the end of September.

What Does the New iCloud+ Subscription Include?

iCloud+ continues to provide additional cloud storage for photos, videos, files and device backups. With the latest update, subscribers in India also get access to Apple TV and Apple Arcade without paying a separate subscription fee.

Apple TV provides access to Apple’s original series, films, documentaries and other entertainment content. Apple Arcade, meanwhile, offers more than 200 games without advertisements or in-app purchases.

The exact availability of features, content and games can vary depending on the country, region and device.

iCloud+ Plans Start at ₹75 Per Month

In India, the updated iCloud+ subscription starts at ₹75 per month for 50GB of storage. Users can choose higher storage tiers according to their requirements.

The subscription can also be shared with up to five family members through Apple’s Family Sharing feature.

This means users who already pay for iCloud+ storage can now get additional entertainment and gaming benefits without adding separate Apple TV or Apple Arcade charges.

Apple TV and Apple Arcade Standalone Subscriptions Are Ending

One of the biggest changes is that Apple TV and Apple Arcade will no longer be available as individual subscriptions directly through Apple in India.

Existing customers who currently subscribe to either service will continue to have access through their iCloud+ subscription. Apple says access will remain uninterrupted, and Apple Arcade users will retain their existing game progress and saves.

What Happens to Apple One in India?

Apple is also changing the availability of Apple One in India.

New customers will no longer be able to subscribe to Apple One, while existing Apple One subscribers can continue using their current plans. This is an important distinction for people who are already using Apple One and are considering switching to the new iCloud+ offering.

Apple One previously combined multiple Apple services, including iCloud+, Apple Music, Apple TV and Apple Arcade.

Apple Music Select Also Comes With the New iCloud+ Offering

Apple is also introducing Apple Music Select for iCloud+ subscribers in India. It provides a collection of curated, ad-free music stations.

However, this should not be confused with a full Apple Music subscription. Users who want the complete Apple Music service can subscribe separately.

Is the New iCloud+ Plan Worth It?

For people who already need extra iCloud storage, the updated plan could offer considerably more value.

A user paying for iCloud+ can now access Apple TV and Apple Arcade without taking separate subscriptions. It may be particularly useful for Apple users who regularly watch Apple Originals or play games across their iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple TV.

However, users who only want Apple TV or Apple Arcade and do not need additional iCloud storage may find the new structure less flexible because Apple is ending direct standalone subscriptions for these services in India.

Apple Gives iCloud+ a Bigger Role in Its Services Strategy

The latest change shows Apple moving iCloud+ beyond being simply a cloud-storage service. By adding entertainment and gaming benefits, the company is turning iCloud+ into a broader subscription package for its ecosystem.

For Indian Apple users, the main takeaway is straightforward: iCloud+ now offers more than additional storage, with Apple TV and Apple Arcade included at no extra cost.

The new offering is being rolled out across more than 100 countries and regions, with availability and specific benefits varying by market.
