Mumbai: Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui recently appeared on comedian Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent Season 2, where the two shared a series of light-hearted exchanges and jokes.
During the conversation, Samay praised Nawazuddin’s performance in Sacred Games before making a joke about the actor’s character. Nawazuddin played along and quipped that he had “come prepared the same way” for the show.
Samay then jokingly warned the actor, saying, “Please choose your words wisely. People in this seat have said some outrageous things.” The remark appeared to reference the controversy involving Ranveer Allahbadia, who had previously appeared in the same seat on India’s Got Latent.
The episode also saw Samay take a playful dig at Nawazuddin over his film Thamma. When asked why he did the film, Nawazuddin responded, “Well, it got made. It’s done,” leaving the panel amused.
Nawazuddin’s appearance is among the latest celebrity appearances on Season 2 of the comedy show, which has also featured names including Alia Bhatt, Sharvari, Medha Shankr and Varun Dhawan.
